A few weeks ago, my family and I had the pleasure of attending the wedding of a very special couple. It was so great to see how much they love each other. What made it even more special is that they so graciously trusted me with the creation of their invitations. The same graphic elements were used throughout the wedding decorations.
The proofs for the book I have been illustrating and designing for the past year just came in. It is still a work in progress but I am so proud of how it turned out. Thoughtfully written by my friend, Gwen McCarthy, it goes beyond postures and takes the reader on a personal journey. This beautiful little book has taught me so much! The author’s granddaughter wanted to pull out/revive the story she had written a while ago, get it illustrated and present it to her on Christmas morning. Since we didn’t have a lot of time, we decided to do a ‘Coming soon’ poster and subsequently work on the book in 2018. Isabelle was thrilled! And emails like these make me love what I do even more!
